Very private and peaceful. Suitable for couples at The Axton Suite or small/large families or groups at Axton Cottage or Axton Cottage Retreat.
Stay 3 nights and the 4th night is FREE.
The Cottage is also suitable for people with Disabilities, with railings and ramps to allow easy access. What's more, Axton Cottage welcomes you to bring along your Cat or Dog, Although there is a lockup kennel outside, Dogs are allowed inside. Larger pets such as horses are also welcome.
Axton Cottage can offer you a quiet and relaxed stay, in a pleasant country environment where you can enjoy swimming, fishing or yabbying in Axton Cottage's large dams.
The Cottage is only 15 minutes from the Eppalock Weir, which is renowned for it's Water Skiing, Fishing and Swimming areas. Just below Eppalock is the Axedale Golf Course which boasts 18 greens and is an exceptional course.
There are also many Wineries and Potteries which are locally accessible within minutes. The township of Strathfieldsaye and Strathfieldsaye's shopping facilities are just down the road and the city of Bendigo and all it's Tourist Attractions are approximately 15 minutes away.

The Axton Suite...
The Axton Suite offers self contained accommodation at the main homestead.
It has a separate entrance and is very private. "Pets are welcome" here also.
The Axton Suite is just as comfortable as the Cottage, with a spacious bedroom and relaxing sitting area with kitchenette.
There is a large shady kennel in the back yard if you need to leave your dog when you go out.
